Hands up who likes the idea of the Jungle Book with some chilled cocktails thrown at it? Welcome to Casa Susegad.

Yes, welcome to the very restful and lovely Casa Susegad in the beautiful village of Loutolim in Goa. I’ve stayed here three times and it keeps getting better.  Run by the  wonderful Norman and Carole, you’re looked after and left alone to relax in equal measure.  This was the very first place I stayed when I arrived in Goa in 2010, it was the perfect spot to sleep and sunbathe away the jet lag . While talking to Carole about my vague holiday wear brand plans I began to get a sense that this might actually start to happen sooner rather than later, Carole is a true creative and needs NO encouragement when it comes to heading off on any sourcing/shopping missions. She introduced me to a few people who pointed me in the right direction and were very generous with their time. I look forward to going back and reporting my progress to them. Norman introduced my friend Sarah and I to White Russian cocktails which unfortunately has stuck with me, I wish I could  find a low cal version but no, oh well…cheers!  I was also introduced to Helen who runs a fantastic local initiative called Helping Elsewhere, I’d like Hibiscus to get involved too.
