Working with the pattern cutter today in London, making sure the feel good factor’s in each Hibiscus piece. What do YOU want in your holiday wardrobe?

Keeping in mind my friend Marina’s words of advice to me on our Moroccan travels last month, ‘Show me the beach Sarah!’, if anyone has the authority to give me friend’s feedback on my design ideas it’s Marina.  She is of Capri descent and bought up in Santa Barbara near Los Angeles, so thats chic Mediterranean meets cool surf hippy. I took her  constructive criticism on the chin and had a good look at the patterns again.

The Hibiscus collection is not all about the beach.  It’s about being anywhere on holiday, having something you love to hand to throw on and feel great in.  It’s relaxed, easy to wear, flattering and most of all FEEL GOOD. My basic boxes to tick in the Hibiscus collection are:

  • There has to be something for everyone, not just skinny minnies. I’m certainly no beach babe but having had 13 years experience of retail and buying I know what flatters women of all shapes and sizes.
  • Does it have the feel good factor?
  • Is it timeless? Will your Hibiscus dress/kaftan become a favourite mainstay of your holiday wardrobe?

The pattern cutter and I have (fingers crossed) got your holiday dress needs covered! I’d love to know what you’re looking for in a holiday dress. Feel free to comment below and I’ll keep your suggestions in mind as I develop the Hibiscus collection, I want to be dressing you if you’re interested in my blog!
