The Power of Friendship

I took myself off on a little road trip recently to visit a friend of mine, Andrea Schmidt I hadn’t seen since September who had sold her house near me in Tarifa and moved to the tiny peaceful village of Benaularia in the hills on the road to Ronda. We had a wonderful catch up in a small time and it got me thinking about the power of friendships.  Naturally I googled ‘the Power of  friendship’ and found an article had been written with that very title which backed up my feelings that friendship can be truly be a life enhancing thing.

I’ve met some fantastic people on my travels and continue to do so. I love to hear from my old friends. It warms my heart to think of the small communities that I’ve become part of on my way around the world that give me some sort of anchor even if I don’t have a permanent roof over my head right now. My priority at the moment is to find out whats really important to me (and to work on Hibiscus)  I can’t do that if I stay  in one place it seems.

As much as I adore being here in Andalucia  I do hanker after a home again, I miss my open fire, the luxury of having a garden and a long soak in the bath.

All in good time. Thats all for now.
