This last week I have been in Somerset lapping up the ridiculously green countryside, hardly believing my good luck to have timed my stay with this brief glimpse of summertime as it should be. I’ve been minding Elvis (the best behaved and most adorable Patterdale terrier) belonging to my friend Steve, we walked through the woods around Alfreds Tower through to the lakes of Stourhead, the grass soft and emerald green after the rain, the sky limitless blue like a Gainsborough on steroids.
Steve has generously stored a lot of my belongings at his rather happening home in Castle Cary. I set up a temporary Hibiscus office on the excessively long dining room table flanked by 2,500 watts per channel speakers (thats loud enough to keep 500 people dancing happily) so I’ve been getting organised to the music…
It’s been a blessed relief to go through my wardrobe and storage units continuing on my de cluttering mission. Giving stuff away, chucking it out and planning my next few months. It looks like I’ll be back in Andalucia for the winter and not Goa, I need to be nearer Europe now the Myhibi.com is live. One thing I can’t get rid of is my denim jacket – I’ve promised not to wear it though..
I’ve had the best time catching up with old friends, long may it continue….
